Printing
PomPrint Designs use several different printing techniques, depending on the item or garment to be printed.
For mainstream garment printing we use two methods, Transfer Printing / Screenprinting and Sublimation Printing.
Transfer Printing is achieved with the use of a commercial heat press and rolled media. The media comes in a large range of colours and types including "Glitter", "Metallic", "Camouflage", "Tartan" etc. ideal for when the occasion demands something different. The "Glitter" range tends to be particularly popular with hen nights.
Screenprinting is used on large volume orders, where garments are printed using pre-formatted screens and ink.
Where photographic images are required, we then use the sublimation technique, using the latest equipment available on the market. This type of printing is crisp, clear and vibrant, and does not fade with washing. Sublimation printing can be applied to a whole host of items such as bags, coasters, place mats, mousemats, t-shirts etc. The list is quite extensive.
Other types of printing used include pad printing. This is employed for promotional items such as pens, calculators, clocks, rulers, keyrings etc. Once again, the list is extensive.
