PomPrint Designs Ltd are looking to recruit a Materials Controller to work in their Mintlaw based facility starting mid August 2012. The successful candidate will be responsible for the movement of goods both in and out of the plant, and the allocation of materials to the appropriate working areas, along with expediting purchase orders from suppliers.
Applicants are required to be physically fit with good communication skills and have a presentable appearance, as the job involves interaction with the public. Other requirements are proven school qualifications in both Mathematics and English Language. A test for colour blindness must also be passed by the successful candidate.
Previous experience in materials control, a proven organizational ability, computer literacy and a clean driving license would all be advantageous, but are not a requirement.
Working hours will be 37 ½ per week from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with ½ hour for lunch. The initial rate of pay will be £7.00 per hour for the first 3 months and then align with standard company pay rates after completion of a successful probationary period.
